Primary Whites:
Esporao 2017 Reserva Branco - Notes of yellow fruit, grapefruit and lemon, slightly toasted and with touches of spices, emphasising the aromatic freshness. Creamy with structure and volume. Balanced and filled with fruit, with a long and intense finish.
Press Gang Cellars 2016 White Blend- Sourced from the La Presa Vineyard over looking the Santa Ynez river. The 2016 Press Gang White Blend is a lively wine with a viscous mouthfeel. Notes of apricot, bees wax, and meyer lemon on the palate make way for passion fruit and white peach on the finish.
Primary Reds:
Domaine de L'Espigouette 2016 Plan de Dieu Cotes du Rhone - Beautiful deep red color with violet hues. The wine is limpid and brilliant. The nose is very open, expressive. On black fruits with first nose and sweet spices (nutmeg, cinnamon). The second nose is sweeter with hints of blackberry jelly that give a lot of gluttony and invite to the mouth. A hint of caramel too, slightly vanilla. The attack on the palate is supple, roundness. The tannins present and of great finesse are characteristic of this vintage.
Alma Negra 2016 M Blend - Crafted by Ernesto Catena, eldest son of Nicolas Catena of Catena Zapata. Alma Negra means "Black Soul" due to the color of the wine. Little is known of Alma Negra, from the technical data to the varietal composition, which Ernesto holds the key. The wine is meant to be judged solely on its character and how you (the taster) perceive it.
Premium Reds:
Corzano e Paterno 2016 I Tre Borri - Crafted from 100 percent Sangiovese and aged for 25 months, the Tre Borri was previously their Chianti Riserva. Aromas of leather, spice, and mulberry are backed by a full bodied palate with slick tannins. Rustic in style, the Tre Borri will be a show stopper in the next 2-4 years.
Mullan Road 2016 Red Wine Blend - Mullan Road Cellars was founded in 2012 by Dennis Cakebread of the renowned Cakebread Cellars winery in Napa Valley. Perfumed aromas of currants, plum skin, dried herbs and spice make way for more intense notes of smoked raspberry, dried strawberry and vanilla bean. The flavors are layered and concentrated, providing a seamless palate filled with deep cherry, black fruits, sage and baking spices. Delicious, sultry and complex, this wine’s wonderful texture and silky tannins carry through to a long and lifted finish fitting for an age-worthy release.
Premium White:
Hamilton Russell 2018 Chardonnay - A tight, minerally wine with classic Hamilton Russell Vineyards length and complexity. Unusually prominent pear and lime fruit aromas and flavours are brought beautifully into focus by a tight line of bright natural acid and a long, dry minerality.
