"While the Reinisch Pinot Noirs have some kinship with Burgundy in terms of flavor, the texture and appeal of them are singular. They are not stand-ins for Burgundy, but are excellent wines with their own character, expressing their place clearly. Like all great wines of the world, there is nothing quite like them! This bottling comes from vineyards in the village of Gumpoldskirchen and the 2018 vintage is considered a top for red wines over the past few decades."
