"The 2016 Nuits Saint-Georges Le Richemone 1er Cru has a clean and precise bouquet with floral scents of black cherry, raspberry and crushed violet, quite "airy" in style and well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, crisp and taut with a dash of spice towards the finish that fans out with a sense of confidence and breeding. This is a very well-crafted Nuits Saint-Georges, classic in style and so tempting in its flush of youth. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting." -NM, Nov/2018
