Primary Whites:
Ragbag 2017 Albarino - From the minds of Steven (Kent) and Aidan Mirassou, 6th and 7th generation winemakers from America's oldest winemaking family comes Ragbag WineWorks. The 2017 Ragbag WineWorks Albarino was sourced from fruit grown on Bokisch's spectacular, organically‐farmed Terra Alta vineyard in Lodi. Vinified without the use of oak to protect the vibrant freshness of the Albarino grape, this wine is delicious, full of citrus and berry flavor, and brimming with mouthwatering acidity.
Kumeu River 2017 Village Chardonnay - The 2017 Kumeu Village Chardonnay, from Kumeu River Winery in New Zealand, is fermented 80 percent in old French oak barriques, and 20 percent in stainless steel tanks. This has allowed the vibrant fruit to show through beautifully with lively lime and lemon aromas and a flinty, mineral edginess, with hints of fig and white peach. It presents an elegant mouthfeel with ripe stone fruit, nutty minerality, and vibrant acidity through to the round, dry finish.
Primary Reds:
Oro En Paz 2015 Del Barba Vineyard Carignan - The 2015 Oro En Paz Del Barba Vineyard Carignan is sourced from century-old, head-trained, own-rooted vines currently farmed by 4 generations of the Del Barba family. This wine opens with notes of bright cherry, plum, black currant, and a touch of flint. It has smooth and light tannins and a beautiful balance between its floral, fruity, and earthy aspects. The wine is fermented naturally with wild yeast and aged in a rustic and traditional style using old, neutral barrels.
Kangarilla Road 2016 McLaren Vale Shiraz - The 2016 Kangarilla Road McLaren Vale Shiraz is regional blend from several vineyards in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia. Aromas of Eastern spices, dark berry fruits, and a touch of eucalyptus lead to an elegant yet creamy texture on the palate that carries complex, savory black fruits combined with anise, dark chocolate, and herbal notes.
Premium Reds:
St. Francis 2014 Reserve Zinfandel - The 2014 St. Francis Reserve Zinfandel, sourced from both valley floor and hillside fruit from the northern end of Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma, is a beautifully balanced Zinfandel with a deep, rich color and spicy aromas of cinnamon and blackberry compote followed by bright flavors of blueberry, boysenberry, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering in this opulent wine.
Bodegas Volver 2015 Triga - The 2015 Bodegas Volver Triga is a Monastrell (Mourvedre) blend that includes 15 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and is the winery's most celebrated wine. The source vineyards were planted between 1925 and 1981, and the Monastrell is ungrafted. The wine is basket pressed over the course of 12 hours to minimize harsh tannins. This opaque purple wine explodes with aromas of black and blue fruits, licorice, and Indian spices. Rich and long on the palate, it offers flavors of sweet blueberry and red currant that conclude with spicy, concentrated finish and balanced acidity.
