Winery's Notes
"First produced in 2012, Holler is named for Red Hollow, the place where Chris's parents live in Knoxville, Tennessee. The theory behind the wine is simple: once the barrels for Kingpin, Rainmaker and Evermore are selected, the remaining barrels (plus some other Bordeaux varietals) become Holler.
Silky. Deep. Polished. Round. Rich. Wide open and full throttle. Dense, purple saturation. A stunning nose of black and blue fruits, sweet oak and crushed mineral. On the palate it offers supple, rich fruit balanced atop a fine tannic framework. Flavors erupting on the palate include blackberry, cherry, citrus, caramel, mocha, cedar and stone. Ready to roll right now and built for the long run."

"The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Holler is blended with 5% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Matured for 18 months in 48% new French, American and eastern European oak and bottled under screw cap, it’s scented of cherry pie, warm chocolate and baking spices. The full-bodied palate matches black fruit with generous new-oak spice, while its tannins are somewhat astringent, closing with an oaky finish. 2,574 cases produced." -EB, 5/1/25
