Winery's Notes
"Dingac is our Plavac Mali from the best wine-growing area in Croatia, our pride, Sv. Lucia Dingac. This vineyard is rich in everything that this variety is good for: sun, calcareous soil full of quartz, mineral soil and good winds. The Plavac that grows here has specific pronounced aromas of prunes, cherries and secondary aromas of tobacco and dark chocolate. Extremely rich and fragrant, it remains drinkable and mild on the palate. It is aged for 24 months in new French oak barriqua barrels, and after 3 years in the cellar it sees the light of day.
Excellent with all meat dishes, dark chocolate desserts, aged cheeses, and best with a good cigar."

"Expect nuanced cranberry and freshly cracked black pepper aromas from this light-bodied red wine from Croatia's Dalmatia region. It's elegant but approachable, with understated red fruit and black tea notes followed by a long, tannic finish." -TB, 7/1/25
