Product Overview
Raineri Barolo comes from a young Langhe winery founded in 2005 by Gianmatteo Raineri, Fabrizio Giraudo and Luciano Racca, three friends who grew up among the Barolo vineyards. Their Nebbiolo grows in Monforte d'Alba on grey marl, limestone and clay, is picked by hand, fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak.
In the 2018, James Suckling noted ripe red-berry character with violet and lavender. Expect a structured, aromatic Barolo with firm tannins that rewards decanting.
