Product Overview
Nose:
An elegant and evolving bouquet. Dark mountain berries and blackcurrant dominate the first impression, courtesy of the Hossfeld Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. These are underpinned by dried violets, faint wild herbs, and a whisper of dried thistle—evoking the vineyard’s rugged, eastern Napa hillside origins. From the Rancho Chimiles Tempranillo, you'll pick up notes of roasted plum, tobacco leaf, and a touch of crushed sandstone minerality, suggesting its Ribera del Duero lineage and elevated, rocky terroir.
Palate:
Silky yet structured, the wine opens with ripe blackberries, cassis, and sun-dried cherry. The Cabernet provides depth and a firm tannic backbone, while the Tempranillo lends a graceful earthiness and savory nuance—leather, anise, and hints of dried fig. The integration of both varietals results in a harmonious mid-palate, showing secondary notes of cedar, mocha, and dried herbs as it breathes.
