Parfait Amour is a sweet orange and vanilla liqueur, perfect for cocktails

I saw Marie Brizard Parfait Amour mentioned on a YouTube video, recently. I'd just ran out of Cointreau, and a trying a new orange liqueur sounded like a fun idea. Be aware that Parfait Amour is a muted purple in color, and this will make a big impact on your cocktail. My wife and I were happy with this purchase. It's definitely sweeter than Cointreau or Grand Marnier, and is closer to a sweet curaçao. It offers a rich vanilla aroma and flavor that isn't in curaçao or triple sec, so consider that when adding it to a cocktail, too. If you're able to balance the extra sweetness and vanilla, then this is a welcome variant on other orange liqueurs. I find myself appreciating that subtle, extra flavor that Parfait Amour brings.
