Winery's Notes
"Aged following a biological aging, under a veil of yeast called “flor” in the cool, humid, salty air of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a fishing town on the estuary of the Guadalquivir river. Papirusa means “elegant and beautiful”. It was the name of the doll that Emilio Lustau gave the daughter of Joaquín Burgos, first manager of Bodegas Lustau in the ’40s.
Bright yellow colour with golden reflections. This Manzanilla is laced with sea breeze scents and pleasant chamomile and flor aromas. Bone dry and light, fresh and crisp, with a hint of sea salt on the palate. Delicate and refreshingly acid with a lingering aftertaste."

"This has a lot of zing, with dried lemon peel and chamomile flower notes leading the way, while chalk and blanched almond accents race in behind them. The finish shows nice tension. Drink now. 3,500 cases made." -JM, 9/30/18
