Aged for eight years, this whiskey matures in Mizunara oak casks, where it draws distinctive flavors from the Japanese oak. The result is a whiskey with a rich and nuanced profile, featuring notes of spices, vanilla, and the unique Mizunara characteristics of coconut and sandalwood. Notes of toasted toffee and soft tropical fruit up front and light notes of dark chocolate lead into the floralness. Lots of baking spice notes with the vanilla.
