Winery's Notes
"David Hirsch was inspired to create the Bohan-Dillon Pinot Noir as an homage to the great village wines of France: a wine full of place and personality, made with the same care and attention as the top wines, and at a good price. The Hirsch Vineyards Bohan-Dillon Pinot Noir is produced using the same winemaking methods and with the same attention to detail as our other Pinots, thereby ensuring a wine of great quality, traditional
Pinot character, and sense of place.
In 2024, the Bohan-Dillon was produced exclusively from Hirsch estate Pinot Noir.
The 2024 Bohan-Dillon is a charming, exuberant wine with fantastic personality and character. A gorgeous ruby red color, it opens with a bouquet of cherries, ripe strawberries and cassis. With air, notes of plum skin, wet stone and redwood forest emerge. On the palate, it’s juicy and mouthwatering, with an easy, irresistible drinkability. Delicious young and effortlessly food-friendly, it can also be served chilled on a warm summer day."

"The 2024 The Bohan-Dilon Pinot Noir, made entirely with estate fruit this vintage, has pretty aromas of blackberry, cranberry, tea leaves, bitters and earth. The medium-bodied palate features fragrant, crunchy fruit and fine, chalky tannins. It’s balanced by mouthwatering acidity and has a long, elegant finish." -EB, 8/20/26
