Glengoyne 30 Year has a deep and dark amber color with aromas of floral honey and marmalade at the front, with touches of raisin ice cream and allspice. On the palate it is rich, thick, and dark. Sherried fruit with morello cherry compote, plum jam and a layer of rich oak.
Matured in hand-selected sherry oak casks of exceptional character, this Glengoyne release is the taste of 30 years, held in a single dram. Their finest sherry casks are left almost entirely to their own devices for 30 years. Two to three times over three decades their malt master will taste to hand-select only the best sherry oak casks.
