On the nose, Glen Grant 15 Year has a heavy bourbon influence with fresh-picked apples, honey sweetness, and vanilla. Medium weight on the tongue even with it's ABV of 50%. The sweetness continues with caramel, lemon. and honey. The finish is long with barrel sugars, oak spice, and even some white chocolate. Apples and a dash of cinnamon end this very enjoyable dram. A great scotch for the person who is just beginning to enter the scotch world or for the person who wants a sweeter whisky.
