Duke Grand Cru Kentucky Reserve Bourbon perfectly marries the classic and bold flavors of aged Kentucky bourbon with the finest French Oak Grand Cru wine barrels in the World. They take a carefully crafted and rare 9 year old selection of their Kentucky Straight bourbon then delicately rest it in these barrels until a unique and graceful balance is found.
This comes from John Wayne’s 1962 recipe. This is warm on the palate, with nutmeg and buttered pecans, cedar that is accented by black cherries dipped in milk chocolate. This just glides on the tongue and leaves behind flavors of orange peel and nougat.
