Don Julio Anejo Tequila has noticeable agave up front and a freshness from the fruit driven highland agave. Oak and a hint of caramel line up nicely next to peppercorn, apricot, and citrusy notes. On first sip it is a bit sweet with some floral and pear that opens to spices. More wood and cigar notes as it hits the back of your mouth, along with white pepper spice, rose, and cinnamon. The finish is long with oak and spice.
