"A spicy version, offering delicate cherry and currant fruit, framed by baking spice details. Firm, with a lingering stony aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2024. 56 cases imported." -BS, 3/2/17

"The 2014 Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru has a little more fruité that its village cru counterpart, furnished with raspberry and wild strawberry aromas that are nicely defined. The palate is succulent on the entry with fine tannin, very well balanced with a tensile, very elegant and precise finish. This is well worth seeking out - lovely!" -NM, 12/30/15

"Medium red. Very expressive scents of strawberry, spices and earth. At once savory and sweet, with strawberry and raspberry fruit flavors complicated by mineral and soil notes. Bright, integrated acidity contributes to this attractive wine's high-toned, almost candied character. Finishes with good length and tannic grip. This has turned out nicely." -ST, Dec/2016
