Dingle Batch #5 is matured in a trio of wonder: Madeira, bourbon and Pedro Ximenez casks, making Batch 5 a brilliant malt. Vanilla, caramel, and oak are forefront on the nose, with a light sweet side that let you get hints of the boubon elements. On the mouth it is a honey burst! Along with caramel and cinnamon. The sweetness of the raisins, apricots, and dates bring the warmth and the sherry notes go perfectly with the sweetness of the bourbon. The finish dry and soft with the vanilla throughout.
