Product Overview
95 Points, "Cellar Selection" - Wine Enthusiast
"A ripe, smoothly textured wine, fermented in wood with dense black fruits, this is powerful and concentrated. It has a tobacco and dark pepper aroma and ripe berries and spice from wood aging. The estate is obviously on a high. Drink the wine from 2029." -RV, 12/1/26
94 Points - Wine Spectator
"Fresh, pure and driven, with lilac, violet and iris notes streaming through in unison, plus red and black cherry and blackberry puree. There's a late, minerally echo on the lengthy, minimal-oak finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2038. 8,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported." -JM, 3/31/25
92 Points - Vinous
"The 2022 Dauzac is bolder on the nose compared to the Boyd-Cantenac, with blackberry and bilberry fruit, more prominent in terms of oak although that will be assimilated with bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and a dash of soy on the mid-palate. Good depth towards the primal finish, this bodes well for the future. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting in London." -NM, Jan/2026
