The 1977 Blandy's 1977 Medium Rich Madeira, bottled and released in 2021, was sourced from a property on the small island of Porto Santo. This very rare release represents the last of the Listrão stock at Blandy's. It displays a bright, crystalline, old gold color, with golden nuances. It has a characteristically distinct, complex, and exuberant bouquet, where volatile aromas of brandy infused with spices, hazelnut, and exotic woods stand out. The flavor is very fresh,volatile, and intense with a long warm finish of spice and balsam.
