"The 2021 Chardonnay Clarion is a total pleasure on the nose: ripe peaches, confectionary spice and a whiff of sweet mint. This washes across the palate with silky textures and vividly ripe orchard fruits enriched by hints of vanilla custard. It cleans up beautifully through the finish, leaving traces of candied lemon and a liquid stone sensation. While more depth on the palate would take this to the next level, the 20121 shines bright for its balance and all-around pleasing character." -EG, Jan/2024
