Winery's Notes
"This rare old vine hillside expression of Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley brings three tiny plots of Pinot Gris together to create a stunningly complex and delicious wine with notes of flowers, citrus, and almond. The wine is anchored by the deep-rooted vines of Alexana Estate and Stone Ridge with an accent of youth provided by our new Kinney Ranch Vineyard-now in its second year of production.
Each vineyard parcel is whole-cluster pressed then fermented and aged in either French oak or stainless steel. The barrel fermentations create layers of texture and concentration while the cold tank fermentations preserve the ephemeral aromas that make this wine so expressive."

"The 2024 Pinot Gris Hillsides is perfumed with notes of crushed nectarine, lemon oil, mint and the slightest whiff of sweet spice. Notable textural depth is on display, nearly oily in feel, with tropical citrus tones complementing ripe orchard fruit. It finishes with outstanding length, leaving a sour lime twang that cleans up the palate as a hint of green melon fades." -EG, Jul/2025
