Willett Distilleries long awaited wheated bourbon has arrived! Just released and not a lot from the distillery on this release we do know they used a mixture of corn, wheat, and malted barley. aged in Char #4 American Oak, distilled in Spring of 2013, and bottled Summer of 2022. We were lucky enough to get to taste this very special release-sweet, smooth, lots of vanilla, caramel, light smoke, and mellow spice. You also notice the black bottle with the gold writing-very different from their other bottlings. If you follow this small Kentucky Distillery, you will not regret this very different bottling from them.
