Product Overview
The 2017 Vineyard 29 Aida Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's more northern estate vineyard in St. Helena leaps from the glass with explosive aromatics of black cassis, currants, violets, and cocoa powder. Intensely concentrated and rich with Aida's signature scorched earth and graphite characters, the fruit profile is a combination of blueberry compote and wild blackberries. A firm tannin profile and long, drawn out finish leave you wanting more of this juicy, black, fruit-driven wine. This powerful yet fragrant Cabernet has the depth and structure to age for well over two decades.

94+ Points - Wine Advocate
"The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is blended with 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it gives up crème de cassis, plum preserves and blueberry compote with chocolate box, fragrant earth, cigar and bay leaves plus wafts of tapenade and pencil lead. The palate is full-bodied, firm, grainy and quite chewy with a good fruit core and long finish." -LPB, 10/31/19
93 Points - Vinous
"The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida is a rich, boisterous wine that very much reflects the natural radiance of this northern sector of St. Helena. Super-ripe red cherry, plum, coffee, mint, leather, licorice and incense abound. I would give the 2017 a few years to shed some tannin. This is an especially flamboyant style, but there is plenty of structure underneath." -AG, Jan/2020
