The 2018 Vena Cava Tempranillo begins with ruby pour and aromatic notes of black fruits, blackberries, fig, cranberry jam, toast, spices, and chocolate. It is medium in weight and presents a firm attack and balanced acidity. Pairs nicely with grilled meats, pasta in red sauce, aged cheeses, and sausages.

Aging: 13 months in French and American oak barriques
