Starward Projects releases Octave Barrels which has been aged in Yalumba’s The Octavius Shiraz 100L octave-sized barrels. Maturing in these hand-coopered vessels has led to intense interaction between wood and whisky. The distinctive Barossa old vine shiraz is present with its decorous flavors. Aromas of raisin, caramel, and ripe peach intertwine with dark fruit. A long and rich finish with toasty oak and marshmallow from the oak barrel staves.
