Pliny the Elder is Russian River Brewing's full-bodied, hop-forward Double IPA, brewed year-round. It's named for the Roman naturalist whose writings include an early reference to hops growing wild among willows.
Russian River lists pine, citrus and stone fruit as its tasting notes.
