"Ripe and fruity with sweet oak (although it's a dry wine), this opens with straightforward aromas of candied plum, blackberry, vanilla and toasty oak spice. The acidity is on the shrill, angular side which makes the palate feel somewhat pinched and the fruit sour, not helped by the drying oak tannins. Drink now." -CP, 9/1/22
