Produced in Saumur, France since 1834, Combier was the world's first triple sec; in fact, current bottlings are still produced using the Combier family's original copper alembics. However, even though this spirit has a long history, it has only recently become available in the United States. And unlike most, Combier is a full 80 proof, making it particularly well-suited for the very best cocktails.
