Product Overview
Winery's Notes
"The fruit was hand-harvested between September 13th and September 27th, 2019. After a 5 to 7-day cold soak, the grapes underwent traditional vinification methods including foot crushing, whole cluster fermentation with native yeast, malolactic fermentation on lees and gravity transfer (no pumping). The wine was aged in François Frères barrels (Bertrange Forest) for 17 months and bottled unfiltered."
Winemaker's Notes
"Nose: Aromatic and both intense and fine; a stunning Pinot Noir with a wide range of aromas (blackberry, cherry, toast, vanilla, white pepper, black tea, spicy oak, rose petal); evolving in a wonderful way.
Palate: Importantly, it reflects what the nose (aroma) intimates: a velvety-textured, full-bodied Pinot Noir that is rich and luscious, with very complex flavor, excellent balance, and a very long and harmonious finish.
Summary: An outstanding Pinot Noir that is nearing its optimal drinkability, and is likely to hold – if properly cellared – through 2030. Best DV yet, and perhaps the star of the show."

"Cherry extract and dried mushroom aromas pick up a fresher wild thyme kick on the nose of this bottling. The palate offers rounded strawberry flavors at first, and then opens into thyme, licorice and darker dried cherry elements." -MK, 10/1/25
