Winery's Notes
"This supple and beautifully structured mountain-grown Merlot continues to remind wine lovers how delicious and age-worthy Merlot can be. It was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels (40% new), and was blended with the four other red Bordeaux varieties for added depth and complexity.
Beautifully complex and aromatic, this wine draws you in with effusive layers of black cherry, ripe berries, tobacco leaf, wild herbs, cinnamon, clove and roasted coffee. On the palate it is luxuriously smooth and round, with seamless tannins and lush, mouth-coating flavors of dark cherry, cassis, ginger, nutmeg and black tea gliding to a long, polished finish."
