"A complex and layered wine that has tons of personality, the 2006 Sorella checks in as blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. It offers savoriness, wild herbs, black currants, smoked herbs, olives and earth in a deep, layered, rich and full-bodied profile. Complex and beautifully balanced, this is a gorgeous wine that has 10+ years of prime drinking ahead of it. This was an incredible showing, and while 2006 was a more difficult vintage than the more heralded 2007, this beauty matches the 2007 Sorella in terms of quality." -JD, 9/28/2016
