"Juicy, darkly mineral, focused. The Käferberg combines two worlds. One is characterized by a rich texture, ripe, yellow-fruit aromas, and enormous substance. It is influenced by the clay that characterizes the upper soil layer of the Langenlois vineyards. The other is tight-knit, straightforward, profoundly mineral, and vital, thanks to the underlying limestone. Both contrast in perfect harmony in the new vintage. The finish is balanced, velvety, compact, and vertical."
