Winemaker's Notes:
"(I procrastinated too long in my petition to the TTB for recognition of Grenache Gris as a variety, and the approval just came yesterday, alas, a little too late to change the label art. Take a look at the language of the back label and note the unprecedented degree of snarkiness; I could not resist.) We did things a little bit differently with the '22 Popelouchum Blanc, picking the grapes a little bit riper and crushing the grapes before pressing, electing to allow approximately 2 hours of skin-contact. As with the '21 vintage, the wine was barrel fermented in neutral cooperage. Still shows similar bracing acidity, but perhaps a bit rounder and softer on the palate. Approximately 200 cases were produced." -Randall Graham

"This is the second vintage of the mysterious white blend, which includes at least one gray grape variety from Randall Grahm's vanguard vineyard. Golden in the glass, it offers rounded aromas of apricot, orange zest, toasted almond and honey on the nose. The palate is vibrant in acidity and unique in flavor, with apricot jam and lemon peel touches." -MK, 3/1/24
