Product Overview
91 Points - Vinous
"The 2022 Malbec Don Nicanor is 70% made up of grapes from the Uco Valley and 30% from Luján de Cuyo. Purple in the glass. Crushed plum, violet and white pepper aromas appear against an oaky backdrop. Indulgent with plush tannins on the palate, the wine's balanced acidity contributes to a juicy and subtly tart finish. This is a Mendoza Malbec with an Uco core." -JH, Jun/2023
90 Points - Wine Advocate
"The 2022 Don Nicanor Malbec is a tremendous value, opening with a balanced bouquet of dark fruit, crushed stones and a touch of woody complexity. The palate is similarly svelte and creamy, concluding with a solid, grippy finish driven by an even-keeled minerality." -ML, 5/1/25
