This annual release of The Macallan Double Cask 18 year old represents the perfect partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. On the nose are dried fruits, ginger, toffee, orange, nutmeg, and clove. The palate is raisin with notes of caramel. vanilla, and ginger balanced by the wood spice and citrus zest. The finish is oak spice with ginger that turns into sweet orange.
