"The 2016 Selección Especial Nº3 Viñas Viejas comes from two vineyards, El Panderón and Monte Faco, planted in 1902 and 1908 in Alta Axarquía, Malaga. Crafted with Moscatel de Alejandría raisins, this nectar aged for 20 months in oak barrels on the lees. The nose offers aromas of dried peach, apricot, white pepper and orange petit four. Almost syrupy on the palate, it unfolds with hints of saffron stirred up by mild acidity. This is a delicacy with a low alcohol content—5.5%." -JH, Apr/2024
