"The 2022 Petite Sirah Alisos Canyon is a blend of Thompson and Nolan, whereas previous vintages were all Thompson. There's a bit more natural ripeness in Nolan, and that very much comes through in the wine's ripe, red-toned profile. A touch of American oak adds sweetness that works so well here. Most importantly, winemaker Stephen Searle tamed the Petite tannins admirably well. Drinking Window 2025 - 2036."
