An artichoke based amaro, the taste has a Vegetal bitterness from the violet artichoke leads, balanced by bitter orange, rhubarb, herbal depth, and savory licorice. Underlying subtle salinity (from the seawater used in production) adds complexity. A very versatile amaro that works neat or over ice as an aperitivo or digestivo, or as a bitter-complexity component in cocktails (especially those where a vegetal artichoke note complements other ingredients).
