A truly masterful blend of two 14-year-old single blended molasses rums, one aged entirely in ex-bourbon barrels and the other in ex-Madeira casks, resulting in a complex and nuanced flavor profile.
The palate is full-bodied and complex; flavors of caramelized grapefruit peel, roasted macadamia nuts, and blackberry cobbler dominate. Underlying notes of pineapple and salted caramel add depth. The mouthfeel is rich and chewy, reminiscent of toffee.
