Importer's Notes
"Domaine Maby, now led by Richard Maby who left a career in finance in 2005, is a centuries old, family run estate in the southern Rhône Valley known for organic viticulture and expressive wines. Their Tavel 'La Forcadière' is a flagship rosé that reflects the appellation’s unique terroir.
Made from 34-year-old vines and grown on Tavel’s signature mix of rolled pebbles, sand, and slate, the fruit yields a wine of notable complexity.
Vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness, 'La Forcadière' shows a watermelon pink color with aromas of garrigue, red berries, and cut grass. The palate is fresh and sunny, with a touch of salinity and a refreshing, lingering finish."
