Winery's Notes
"Vineyards of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyards of Puligny-Montrachet are positioned on a short and gentle slope, facing East, at a height of 230-390 m. The appellation Puligny-Montrachet (created in 1937) includes 114 ha of appellation „village”, 100 ha of „Premier Cru” and 21 ha of „Grand Cru”. Puligny-Montrachet, along with Chassagne, is the most perfect expression of the Chardonnay grape.
Our Puligny-Montrachet village is a dry, still white wine. It is of a bright gold colour with greenish highlights, becoming more intense with time. This racy wine expresses a hint of honey and its aromas develop with maturity. In the mouth, it is fine and elegant, slightly mineral with a good aromatic persistence. Body and bouquet blend into a subtle harmony. It combines grace with a well-defined character and a remarkable concentration."
