"Opaque ruby. Expressive cherry, cassis and floral aromas, along with hints of smoky bacon, licorice and black pepper. Well-concentrated and energetic on the palate, offering mineral-driven black and blue fruit, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that stretch out and become sweeter with air. Shows fine detail and spicy bite on the long, gently tannic and floral-tinged finish." -JR, Dec/2022

"Scents of cracked pepper and mint emerge on the nose of the 2018 Crozes Hermitage Alberic. (Longtime fans of this fine domaine will note that the names of the various cuvées have been shortened.) Backed by vibrant blackberry and blueberry, this is a medium to full-bodied, silky-textured offering that displays ample length and freshness on the finish." -JC, 5/13/21
