Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"2017 began with plentiful rainfall followed by a mild spring. An early September heat spike followed by three weeks of cooler weather resulted in good sugar levels and the accumulation of flavor complexity. What a difference an early September heat spike made as we picked on September 30th, just 8 days before the Atlas Fire.
The resulting wine shows dark ruby colors with a blackberry aroma and a little spice box essence. The palate is rich and rewarding with bursting fruit of dark berries and the ever-present black cherry, plus cassis and subtle oak complexity."

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon skips out of the glass with carefree notions of plum preserves, baked blackberries and crème de cassis, plus unsmoked cigars, bouquet garni and Indian spices hints. Full-bodied, plush and intensely fruit, it has loads of spicy accents with a long fragrant finish." -LPB, 11/30/21
