Product Overview
Winery's Notes:
"... It comes from vineyards situated along the northern edge of the Oak Knoll District (covered by an NDA because other wines from here sell for $250+). Located in the southern part of Napa, the cooling effect from San Pablo Bay keeps the climate temperate, creating a fresh, restrained profile. Only 125 (three barrels) cases were made, making it a rare find. This wine is mainly from the famous Cerrito Bloack vineyard in Rutherford AVA.
Petite Verdot is the secret ingredient in some of the most famous Chateau in the world in it's native Bordeaux. 2018 was a Napa winemaker's dream, a vintage Decanter says 'belongs in an echelon with the finest of the past two decades,' and Wine Spectator blessed this year with 99 points and said it was a "Spectactular year, with wines that are rich and dark, but detailed, restrained in style and very terrior-driven.'"
