"The 2021 Garnacha is 100% sourced from old vines planted in the Sierra de Pardos, Aragón. Intensely aromatic, with cherry, rose and subtle jam and candy notes, it aged for 16 months in French oak puncheons and demi-muids. Full-flavored and plush in the mouth, this is almost liqueur-like in character. The 2021 is a generous, expressive red that would benefit from further refinement to the winemaking process." -JH, May/2025
89 Points - Wine Spectator
"Brambly herb and floral notes lace the crushed boysenberry and blueberry fruit flavors in this bright, expressive red, which is silky on the palate, though firmed by chewy tannins. Hints of black tea, cocoa powder and anise linger on the fresh finish. Drink now through 2027. 15,000 cases made, 12,000 cases imported." -AN 8/31/24
