"The 2021 Chardonnay Estate comes from ungrafted vines planted in 1973. It was barrel fermented and matured in about 40% new French oak, finishing with four months in stainless steel. It has ripe aromas of baked apples, peach, beeswax, roasted almonds and dried hay. Medium-bodied, the palate is tangier than expected, its savory fruit slightly less ripe than on the nose.
