Winery's Notes
"Rich and powerful, our 2019 Anthem Estate Cabernet Sauvignon opens with alluring aromas of black cherry, plum, currant, and warm winter spice. The palate is opulent and expressive of the Mt. Veeder terroir with earthy undertones and the addition of more dark fruit like blackberry mid-palate, followed by delicious notes of olive, bay leaf, and espresso. The finish is generous and lengthy. Ready to drink now through at least 2036."

93 Points - Wine Advocate
"From a vineyard on Mount Veeder, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate hints at bay leaf and sage backed by notes of cassis and black cherries and subtle oak undertones. This is lovely Cabernet, medium to full-bodied, bright and fresh; not overly rich or layered, but it's juicy and fun to drink, with an appealing suppleness and gentle tannins on the finish." -JC, 3/31/23
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Suave and delicious, this velvety textured and richly flavored wine aged in all-new barrels overflows with ripe black plums and black cherries wrapped in fine-grained tannins. Tempting to drink now but the wine will become more complex and smooth from 2028-2038." -JG, 5/1/23
92 Points - Wine Spectator
"Well-steeped in feel, with red tea, chaparral and mulling spice notes emerging from the core of winey red and black currant fruit. The finish is underscored by warm earth and cast iron accents. On the approachable side already, too. Drink now through 2034. 880 cases made." -JM, 8/31/23
