"Altre Vie is the négociant project of Gianluca Colombo and Federico Scarzello. In 2020 they began acquiring high quality grapes from the wineries they were consulting for and decided to start experimenting with them. The results were better than expected and several labels have come about from their fun in the cellar. The Altre Vie project consists of an Arneis, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, and a Barolo."
The Altre Vie 2022 Dolcetto d'Alba Anfora is a charming, well-balanced expression of Dolcetto. It combines the varietal’s signature fruit-forward character with a subtle complexity introduced by amphora aging. Fresh, approachable, and well-structured, it’s an excellent choice for casual drinking or pairing with a variety of dishes, from charcuterie to roasted poultry or pizza.
