Product Overview
Agrapart’s Terroirs is a striking expression of Côte des Blancs Chardonnay, delivering a Champagne that is both deeply rooted in its chalky Grand Cru soils and uncompromising in its purity and precision. It is tightly wound yet quietly powerful, offering a vinous, textural experience that balances finesse with intensity.
What sets Terroirs apart is its transparent expression of place—it tastes like limestone and cool climate, channeling the minerality of Avize and surrounding villages with razor-sharp clarity. Despite its Extra Brut dosage (typically around 5g/L or less), the wine is not austere; it is elegant and harmonious, driven by vibrant acidity and a core of citrus and orchard fruit that feels etched into stone.
There is a tactile energy here—chalky grip, fine bubbles, and a finish that fans out slowly and thoughtfully, echoing sea salt, citrus oil, and crushed shells. This is a Champagne that feels serious but not severe, perfect for those who appreciate nuance and terroir expression over flash or overt opulence.
It’s not built to dazzle with sweetness or creaminess; instead, it invites contemplation, rewards patience, and shines at the table—especially with shellfish, crudo, or even hard cheeses. In short, Terroirs is a reference-point grower Champagne: quietly profound, intensely site-driven, and a masterclass in chalky precision.

93 Points - Wine Advocate:
"The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs is an excellent introduction to the estate’s Chardonnays. Disgorged in August 2024 with three grams per liter dosage, it’s composed of 20% from the 2021 vintage (vinified in tank), 50% from 2020 and 30% from 2019, with half of the reserve wines aged on the lees in approximately 30-year-old demi-muids. Heavily based on Oger (around 40% of the blend), with the remainder coming from Oiry, Cramant and Avize, it’s already expressive, offering aromas of honeysuckle, nectarine, bread and fresh hazelnut. Medium to full-bodied with bright acidity and complemented by a pillowy mousse, it concludes with a long, sapid finish." -KK, 12/19/2024
